The Modern Cooking Facility for Africa (MCFA) is today opening its second funding round to support access to and scale-up of high-technology clean cooking solutions in seven Sub-Saharan African countries.

A new agreement has been signed between the Modern Cooking Facility for Africa (MCFA) and a clean cooking company in Zambia producing, selling and renting clean cookstoves to support the scale-up of clean cooking solutions for households in peri-urban and urban areas of the country.
Med stöd från Sverige och E5P har projektet gynnat cirka 17 800 barn och anställda samt 23 000 patienter, samtidigt som det har ökat stadens kapacitet att ta emot internflyktingar och ge dem tillgång till viktiga sociala tjänster.

With support from Sweden and E5P, the project has directly benefited approximately 17,800 children and staff, and 23,000 patients, while also boosting the city’s capacity to accommodate internally displaced persons (IDPs) and provide them with access to essential social services.

Proiectul de modernizare energetică va fi implementat în una dintre cele mai mari instituții de educație timpurie din oraș pentru a reduce consumul de energie și a îmbunătăți starea de confort termic pentru aproape 400 de copii și persoane angajate.
