The Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFA) is today opening the Call for Proposals (BGFA4) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with the aim of accelerating the provision of off-grid energy services in DRC by providing financing to energy service providers active in the country. Nefco, Sweden and the local energy authority ANSER are signing a joint Letter of Intent to support the programme implementation.

Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFA) öppnar i dag en finansieringsrunda (BGFA4) i Demokratiska republiken Kongo med syfte att påskynda tillgången av energitjänster utanför elnätet i landet. Detta görs genom att erbjuda finansiering till leverantörer av energitjänster som är verksamma i landet. Nefco, Sverige och den lokala energimyndigheten ANSER undertecknar en avsiktsförklaring för att stödja genomförandet av programmet.

Le Fonds BGFA ouvre aujourd’hui l’appel à propositions (BGFA4) en République démocratique du Congo (RDC), dans le but d’accélérer la fourniture de services énergétiques hors réseau en RDC en octroyant des financements aux prestataires de services énergétiques actifs dans le pays. La Nefco, la Suède et l’ANSER vont signer une lettre d’intention pour soutenir la mise en œuvre du programme.
