Introduction of up-to-date energy efficient solutions for district heating in Poltava/Supply and installation of renewable energy sources

Poltavateploenergo, Poltava Regional Municipal Production Enterprise of Heat Management, is seeking tenders for the supply and installation of renewable energy sources – including geothermal boreholes, solar collectors, heat pumps, accumulator tanks, and individual heat substations – to modernise district heating in Poltava, Ukraine. The contract, financed by the Sweden-Ukraine District Heating Fund through Nefco, shall cover the full cycle from design and delivery to installation, commissioning, and training, with project implementation scheduled for January to November 2026.

The scope includes drilling 35 boreholes, installing at least 125 m² of solar collectors and 120 kW of heat pump capacity, and introduction of two individual heat substations. Tenderers must demonstrate relevant technical experience, financial capacity, and compliance with Ukrainian and international standards. This initiative aims to significantly improve energy efficiency, reduce reliance on gas, and enhance the sustainability and resilience of the municipal infrastructure.
