General Procurement Notice – Energy Efficient renovation of kindergartens No. 1 and No. 4 in the city of Koziatyn

Koziatyn City Council, plans to announce tenders for the procurement of works, goods and services under the project “Energy Efficient renovation of kindergartens No. 1 and No. 4 in the city of Koziatyn, Vinnytsia Region, Ukraine”. The start of the tenders is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

The project envisages the comprehensive modernization of kindergartens No. 1 and No. 4 in the city of Koziatyn. The goal of the project is to maintain optimal microclimate conditions in the buildings while reducing energy consumption, CO₂ emissions and, as a result, the burden on the city budget associated with the operation of buildings. In addition, the project is of great social importance, as its implementation will improve the quality and conditions of educational services and extend the life of the buildings.

The city intends to use the grant funds provided under the Green Recovery Program for the works, goods and services listed below. It is expected that about EUR 2.2 million will be spent to finance the project.

As part of the project implementation, contractors and service providers will be selected to implement measures in the following areas

• Thermal insulation of exterior walls (including basement walls below ground level)
• Replacement of windows and exterior doors
• Insulation of the roof and the ceiling of the unheated basement
• Modernization of internal/external lighting systems
• Replacement/modernization of engineering networks
• Photovoltaic power plant with energy storage in batteries
• Improvement of civil safety solutions

Procurement under contracts financed by grant funds through NEFCO as Fund Manager is subject to NEFCO’s Procurement Policy and Procedures. The specific procurement notice for international open competitive tendering will be announced as soon as it is available.
