The Districts of Floresti, Ialoveni, Nisporeni and Telenesti are planning to announce a series of competitive tenders for the procurement of works, goods and services within 4 separate projects altogether constituting the Programme “Energy Efficiency refurbishment of healthcare institutions in 4 districts of the Republic of Moldova”. Tendering for the contracts are expected to begin in Q2-Q3 2023.
The above-mentioned districts intend to use loan funds provided by the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (Nefco), own co-financing and grant funds from Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) for the works, goods, and services listed in the attached document.
The Programme will result in the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions as well as in budgetary expenditures savings. Also, it will have important social impact since its implementation will improve the quality and conditions of patients’ and staff’s wellbeing and will extend the healthcare buildings’ lifetime.
The investment programme, which has the total estimated cost of approximately EUR 2 million (loan funds, grant, and local co-funding), will require the procurement of the works, goods, and services for 11 healthcare institutions mentioned in the General Procurement notice.
