Kovel City Council is going to announce competitive tendering for the works, goods and services required for the Project “Energy Efficiency improvements in Public Buildings in the city of Kovel, Volyn region, Ukraine” (the Project).
Main Project Components:
- Component 1: Energy efficiency improvements in Kovel Lyceum No.1, including thermal insulation of the roof, external walls, and socle; Replacement of entrance doors and arrangement of air-locker at the entrance; Modernisation of the internal heating system, including replacement of pipelines, heating appliances and installation of thermostatic valves and an Individual Heat Substation (IHS); Implementation of mechanical ventilation with waste heat recovery; Upgrade of building level power supply; Installation of a 10kW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant with battery storage.
- Component 2: Energy efficiency improvements in Preschool Educational Institution №10, including thermal insulation of the roof, external walls, and socle; Replacement of entrance doors and arrangement of air-locker at the entrance; Modernisation of the internal heating system, including replacement of pipelines, heating appliances and installation of thermostatic valves and an Individual Heat Substation (IHS); Implementation of mechanical ventilation with waste heat recovery; Upgrade of building level power supply; Installation of a 15kW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant with battery storage.
The Project also includes preparation and approval of project design documentation, obtaining necessary permits, supply, installation and commissioning of goods and equipment, and performance of related works and services by contractors.
Open tenders for the selection of contractors for the both components of the Project are anticipated to be announced in the first quarter of 2026.
