The Modern Cooking Facility for Africa has signed new agreements with producers offering clean cookstoves based on pellet and solar/biomass technology to accelerate access to clean cooking solutions across Kenya.

On 27 August 2024, Ulf Bojö, Vice President for Eastern Europe at Nefco, visited the city of Lviv and the ongoing construction of new housing for internally displaced persons as well as other projects under different implementation stages.
Citizens of Ukraine, as well as its industries and other businesses, are suffering from constant power blackouts. Thousands of schools, day-care centres and hospitals have also been damaged or even destroyed since Russia full-scale invasion started in February 2022.
Два гуртожитки для переселенців у Хмельницькому пройшли реконструкцію та енергоефективну модернізацію в рамках програми «Підтримка ЄС для задоволення нагальних житлових потреб внутрішньо переміщених осіб (ВПО) в Україні», що фінансується Європейським Союзом і реалізується під управлінням НЕФКО. Серед них — Леонід і Лариса, двоє пенсіонерів, які через російське вторгнення втратили домівки на сході України, де точаться бойові дії.
Two dormitories for displaced Ukrainians in Khmelnytskyi underwent reconstruction and energy-efficiency modernisations. Among the residents of the new housing are Leonid and Larysa, two senior citizens who lost their homes in the war-torn east of Ukraine due to the Russian invasion.

Projektet finansieras av Finland och implementeras av Nefco genom programmet för grön återuppbyggnad i Ukraina. Det här är Finlands första investering i Ukraina via Nefco efter att Ryssland inledde sitt anfallskrig mot Ukraina.
Hanke toteutetaan Suomen rahoittamana Nefcon hallinnoiman Ukrainan vihreän elvytysohjelman kautta. Hanke on Suomelle ensimmäinen Nefcon kautta tehtävä investointi Ukrainaan Venäjän aloittaman hyökkäyssodan jälkeen.
The project is funded by Finland through the Green Recovery Programme for Ukraine and implemented by Nefco. This marks Finland’s first investment in Ukraine through Nefco since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
