Pe 17 iunie 2025, două instituții medicale din Republica Moldova modernizate din punct de vedere al eficienței energetice – clădirea maternității din cadrul Spitalului Raional Nisporeni și Policlinica din orașul Telenești – au fost inaugurate în urma unor lucrări majore de eficientizare energetică. Proiectele au fost implementate în cadrul primului program comun de eficiență energetică desfășurat în Republica Moldova de Parteneriatul pentru Eficiență Energetică și Mediu în Europa de Est (E5P) și Nefco.
On 17 June 2025, two healthcare institutions in Moldova, the maternity building of the Nisporeni District Hospital and the Polyclinic of the City of Telenesti, were inaugurated following major energy-efficiency modernisations. The projects were implemented as part of the first joint Nefco and Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) energy-efficiency programme in Moldova.

In the city of Irpin, located just outside Kyiv, over 900 buildings have been destroyed during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Across the country, the number of damaged or destroyed buildings is estimated to exceed 250,000. While the war continues, the urgent task of repair and reconstruction cannot wait.

The Annual Results Report of the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFA) programme in 2024 shows successful progress of the programme implementation.
