The District of Ialoveni from Republic of Moldova is planning to announce competitive tendering procedure for the procurement of works, goods and services towards the costs of a project aimed at energy-efficiency improvements of healthcare institutions in the District of Ialoveni, at five Family Doctor’s Offices from the following villages: Rusestii Noi, Ulmu, Vasieni, Milestii Mici and Tipala.
The above-mentioned district intends to use the funds from a loan provided by Nefco, own co-financing and grant funds from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) for the works, goods, and services for the implementation of following energy-efficiency measures in the above mentioned Family Doctor’s Offices:
- Thermal insulation of building envelope
- Replacement and thermal insulation of the roof with mineral wool
- Thermal insulation of the floor above the basement on the soffit with extruded polystyrene
- Replacement of wooden doors and windows
- Modernisation of the indoor heating system
- Modernisation of the interior lighting installations
- Installation of PV-photovoltaic systems
The Project will result in reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions as well as budgetary expenditures savings. Also, it will have important social impact since implementation of the project will improve the quality and conditions of patients’ and staff’s wellbeing and will extend the building’s lifetime.
Tendering for the above contract is expected to begin in Q1 2025.
