Twenty six applicants shortlisted for NCF

The Nordic Climate Facility (NCF) team has reviewed the 94 pre-qualification applications received for the fourth call for proposals and 26 applicants have been shortlisted.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present a full proposal. The final applications shall be submitted to NCF by early May. The detailed guidelines and templates have been provided to the shortlisted applicants.

NCF and external evaluators will assess and score the final applications based on NCF’s guidelines and applications will be ranked based on the scoring. Negotiations will be conducted starting from the highest scoring applications until the funding for the fourth call has been allocated.

The Nordic Climate Facility, which is funded by the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) and administered by NEFCO, provides grants with co-financing requirements for innovative climate related projects in low-income countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Financing can be granted to Nordic institutions, organizations, companies, and authorities which have established cooperation with a partner in low-income countries. The theme of NCF4 is Inclusive green growth projects contributing to private sector development.
