Nefco will join World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) this year as a partner. WCEF consists of the main event in Messukeskus 30-31 May, and side events will be organised 1-2 June all around Helsinki + online. Learn more about our activities at the WCEF and how to take part in the event.
What is the WCEF?
The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2023, organised for the 7th time, will return to Helsinki this year. The event will gather forward-looking thinkers and doers from all over the world and present the game-changers in the circular economy. WCEF2023 is co-organised by Nordic Innovation and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners.
WCEF 2023: Circular solutions for nature and the economy
This year’s theme “Circular solutions for nature and the economy” covers a variety of topics, such as: finance, accounting and metrics, everyday life and health, future skills, regenerative agriculture and forestry, finite materials and energy, mining, trade, strategies and road maps, fashion and textiles, food, construction and the built environment, plastics and packaging, electronics, and hydrogen.
The forum will consist of different plenaries and parallel sessions with a wide range of relevant topics and sectors, including dedicated spaces for exhibitions and networking. The third and fourth day (1-2 June) are reserved for partner-led programmes that can take place anywhere around the world or online.
