The 16th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 16) will take place in Cali, Colombia.
Nefco will attend the COP 16, which will be the first Biodiversity COP since the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework in December 2022 in Montreal, Canada.

With the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the urgency of addressing the biodiversity crisis has been underscored by both the public and the private sector globally. Here in Cali, the focus will be on the provision of means for implementation with finance, capacity building, technology, legislation and measurement tools as essential elements.
This event will have a strong focus on how to secure finance for biodiversity, but also build on the necessary cross-sector collaboration.
