The International Centre for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI, the Project implementing agency) intends to channel part of the proceeds of the grant from the Arctic Council Project Support Instrument (PSI) facility managed by Nefco for implementation of the Project ”Phase Out of Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases and Ozone-Depleting Substances at Fish and Seafood Processing Enterprises of the Murmansk Oblast (Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation). Phase 2”.
The proposed Project has a total estimated cost of EUR 8,870,000 including PSI grants and local contributions, and will require procurement of goods, works, equipment and consulting services. The first procurement packages will be as follows:
- Conversion of Refrigerating Equipment of LLC “Fishing Company “Polar Sea+”. Procurement of Plant and Related Works;
- Conversion of Refrigerating Equipment of LLC “Murmanstroy”. Procurement of Plant and Related Works;
- Establishment of a Training center on the base of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Murmansk State Technical University”.
Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in Q 1 2021. Several other procurement packages will be tendered during 2021-2022. Those include supply of tools, equipment, spare parts and repair of refrigeration equipment. In addition, consulting services including but not limited to the web design, technical documentation and training will be procured.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the grant from PSI facility will be subject to Nefco procurement guidelines. Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a grant from PSI facility managed by Nefco will be open to firms/individuals from any country.
