Chortkiv City Council intends to use the proceeds of a loan from Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (Nefco) and grant funds from the Norway-Ukraine Energy Efficiency Initiative (NUEE), towards the costs of a project aimed at energy efficiency improvements in secondary school No. 7 in the city of Chortkiv.
The project foresees implementation of energy-efficient measures at the school which is defined as the basic educational institution of the Community for children. The project will result in reduction of energy consumption, CO2 emissions, extend the school building’s lifetime as well as result in cost savings of budgetary expenditures. The project is of great social importance since the implemented project will improve the quality and conditions of education services in the city.
The investment project, which has the total estimated cost of approx. EUR 725,000 (loan financing, grant funding and local co-funding), will require the procurement of the following works, goods, and services for implementation of energy efficiency measures in secondary school No. 7 in the city of Chortkiv as a single Lot:
- Thermal insulation of walls and socle;
- Thermal insulation of flat roof;
- Thermal insulation of attic floor (including replacement of pitched roof);
- Replacement of windows and doors;
- Modernisation of heating and engineering systems, etc.
